I had an issue where the the black caps on 2 motors popped off from landing the Ladybird and I was unable to repair and had to purchase new motors. So to protect this from happening again I took a couple of foam darts from my kids toys and cut 4 - 1/2 inch pieces and slid the foam around the motor housing and under the clip to secure it. Doing this did not have any bad effect on flying. The Ladybird is still very stable and flies great. So if you have damaged a couple of motors like I did you might want to give something like this a try. See attached pic.
