Hello,
I know the V200D03 has been around for a while, but it is new to me and I'm having a possible problem.
I've been flying the heli pretty well for the last year, still learning. Up until now I have made the mistake of only flying in normal mode, not flight mode 1 or 2. This made the heli easy to fly, but head and tail speeds were low.
I just recently tried to start using flight mode 1 and I had a crash due to an over extending tail servo that broke the mounting screws of the tail control arm. The heli spun to the ground.
I have made the repairs, but since that crash it seems like the head speed is much faster at lower throttle and it maxes out at 75% throttle. Once you reach 75% throttle on the transmitter there is no further speed increase to the motor. At first I thought it was the ESC, so I got a new one. Same problem. So then I plugged the ESC into a spare RX601 receiver I have laying around and that worked correctly. I had full throttle range from 0% to 100%. So, I figured the V200's receiver was bad and ordered another one. It came today and I tried it out with the exact same results!! 75% throttle is 100% motor speed. I swapped the ESC back to the RX601 and it works perfectly from 0 to 100%
I'm not at a loss. All electronics on the heli are brand new. It's almost like the receiver is meant to top out at 75% stick. Since I never flew with the higher head speed I'm unsure if this is correct. The receiver is the stock RX2618v-d unit.
I can't find any info on this online at all and don't know where else to go for answers. Hopefully someone here can help.
