Hello every one My name is Jeff, I have been involved in the Heli hobby for about 2 yrs now. I started with a Air Hog Coaxial And had some hand me downs that I did many mods to! From there I moved to a WlToys 913 which I still fly it is a lot of fun About 3 months ago I bought a Walkera V450D03 ...I have had a interesting time with this chopper I have crashed many times .. I was just trying to learn the 450 way to fast which resulted In a huge crash!!!! I have pain staking been trying to get this bird back in the air but any way that is a little about me and whats going on in my RC heli world right now

Have the same heli that I have flown a few times. I have not crashed the heli so far as I have programmed it to fly on a non-3D mode. I am just an intermediate helicopter pilot and going 3d is still in the horizon. There are lots of parts available on line. I suggest you buy the more important parts for the helicopter to keep it flying for months or years to come. Walkera is shifting to quads where they make more money specially the FPV quadcopters that easier to fly than single rotor helis. I have various sizes of Walkera helicopters and have stock up on parts and will keep doing so. You have to be patient when repairing. Try upgrading your V450D03 by using parts from V450D01 where some parts are interchangeable. This is what I did on my V120D03 that I had a bad crash. I purchased upgraded parts from this hobby shop and on Ebay. Walkera's are excellent helicopters so is WLToys that I recently added 6 axis V977 & 988 using one transmitter that converts from mode 1 to 2, 6-3 axis gyro at the flick of a switch.BTW, am using DEVO 8S walkera transmitter that I have upgraded to Deviation firmwarer. I can fly blade helicopters using this transmitter.
