I have a DEVO 10 which does telemetry, but I have to go through the menu to see the readout. Which DEVO shows it on screen all the time?

The Devo telemetry versions are the 6s,8s,10 & 12s. All but the Devo 10 have color LCD touchscreen displays. You can access the "Sensor View" screen in the Model Menu. You can keep this screen on, if you like. However, I find it to be useless because I never look at the display while I have my heli in the air. However, I might from time to time, check the thermal and voltage readings while it's on the ground after a flight to make sure the motor isn't getting too hot, or that I have enough juice left in the battery to go for another flight. But never while I'm flying.

THanks majic1 I don't look at screen when flying ether. It just a hassle to scroll through menu to get to read outs..20 clicks to get to sensor view on DEVO 10.Would like to land, look at screen to check voltage on heli. How would I keep sensor view screen on all the time I'am flying? Mine resets to main screen after a few minutes.

First, I have to make a correction. I have a Devo 8s. The Sensor View screen is not in the Model Menu. It's in the System Menu. According to the manual it's supposed to be in the Model Menu. I have also updated my 8s to the latest fw, which is v8. I think some of the functions may have been rearranged in the latest updates? 10 clicks to get to the Sensor View screen on the Devo 10? Really? With the 8s it's only 2 clicks. 1 click for the System Menu, then 1 click for Sensor View. If I leave my Tx on Sensor View, it will stay there until I exit. It doesn't revert back to the main screen unless I tell it to. What I find interesting is I have my LCD backlight timeout set to 30 seconds. So, my display blacks out after 30 seconds to preserve the batteries. When I leave the Tx on Sensor View, it does not blackout after 30 seconds. It will stay on until I exit Sensor View. I would assume the 6s & 12s are the same as my 8s, since they are all basically the same design. Just different numbers of channels. You should check your Devo 10 manual to see if there is a way to keep your Sensor View screen on. It might be just a setting in the Tx.

Reading you're post reminded me to check for updates. So some things have changed on my DEVO 10 also, small things though. The reason mine would not stay at the sensor screen is my back-light would also go out and when I pressed any button to turn it back on,it would jump back to main screen. Its still quite a few clicks in,but it stays there now and the back light stays on. Well my question has been answered.... thanks for you're help....
