My X350 takes so long sometimes to get a gps signal, then I realized it was the tx antenna, when I unplug it I get signal almost instantly even inside the house. Is there any upgrade to this problem? Will the latest firmware upgrade fix this? Please someone help me!!

So I flew my quad today and all was going well, I put the battery pack to charge and when it was full attempted another flight only to discover the back motor not spinning, I thought maybe the motor may have gone bad ( though that would be very surprising since it is new) so I replaced the motor with a spare that I have- still didn't work so my conclusion is that the ESC is bad. Oh I was still getting the red light at one point then absolutely nothing now.

I retrofit a DV04 and RX5803 onto my QR X350 and am having the same issues. I do have the anti interference ring magnet which did help, but not completely. While in hold it still looses lock. Had a couple of near crashes because of it.
I have read in many places this is a issue, oh, but I'm certain it isn't when you buy the FPV version out of the box.
What shielding is required to relieve this situation? Come on Walkera, give with the secrets lol lol lol

Charlie : Orient the antenna of the TX5803 so that is is pointing sideways . The idea for getting rid of interferrence is to have NO antennas in parallel alignment . Keep in mind that the QRX350 has the GPS antenna in the cockpit , your video TX antenna and the flight control RX antennas (pair) . I set up my machine to have the TX5803 pointing sideways and the flight RX antennas running down the front landing legs thru a glued on plastic tubing . (for easy removal)
Hope this helps . RickC
