According to the Walkera home page (under service), you can enable IOC by utilizing a 2 wire hookup from Aux 1 on the rcvr to Aux 2 on the main control board. Also says something about upgrading X350 software. Dealer is supposed to supply hookup wire. Question 1.... do all models require this or just the earliest shipments? Question 2.... does Walkera Heli Supply provide this hookup wire? Question 3.... on the software update, my shipment did not come with the indicated USB hookup for updating. Where is it? Question 4.... Why am I the only one on this forum? Thanks, Adlereins

Question 1.... do all models require this or just the earliest shipments? The hook up wire is easy to tell if you need it as it sticks down into the space where your battery goes. I know some of the very early X350's didn't have the wire and it is my understanding that you send in your controller and WHS will send you a replacement. As to the firmware I doubt that the earliest has the upgrade. It is hard to tell when it went into affect and where they were in production. In the past I have gotten aircraft that needed upgrading even after the firmware upgrade was made available. It is an easy task to upgrade if you have the UP02 needed for the task. WHS has them for sale. Checkout this link Question 1.... do all models require this or just the earliest shipments? Question 2.... does Walkera Heli Supply provide this hookup wire? You would have to check with WHS to see what they are doing about it. I know they have the UP02 cable and adapter for sale.
Question 3.... on the software update, my shipment did not come with the indicated USB hookup for updating. Where is it? Once again check with WHS for the latest news.
Question 4.... Why am I the only one on this forum? The QR X350 is so new that there aren't a lot of people out there that have them yet. I have one and love it. Not sure of what you think and what your experiences are so please share what you think of it and how it flies. I am spending all my time with the X350 especially since my other high end quad is setting on the bench needing fixed again.

Sorry I pasted the wrong buffer. Here is the link I talked about: walkera.com/en/showgoods.php?id=2507It is the best explanation of Walkera's implementation of IOC that I have found. It really beats all the written explanation. I think it is like DJI's Course Lock function.

I was having trouble getting my IOC to function. Everything I tried (following the instructions) failed.
Until I noticed there are actually two forms of the Quick start guide. One says to set your "Type" aircraft" to AERO, and the other says to set it to HELI.
I dont know about any other QR X350s, but when I changed the type from HELI to AERO my IOC started working.
My owners manual says heli, and my quick start guide says aero. Who is dropping the ball here?

Walkera has a new User Manual out that is a full Manual and it now says Aero. It is on their web site and is dated 7/25 but I have multiple User manuals after that and they are wrong. The one now available for download is correct.
