Hi everyone in the Heli world! As much as I hate to admit it, I'm a newbie to the helicopter world. I met Dave in email when I bought my new Devo 10 Tx, LOVE MY NEW TX, DAVE! :-[Thanks for helping my getting it paired. Your a life saver. I've been trying to fly my heli's (Hausler 450SE V2 and a CopterX 450AE V2, which are both Trex clones). for about 4 month's, that is, when the wind isn't blowing. Over 300 days of sunshine, hardly any rain, but it blows 95% of the time. Buggers. The CopterX, I built from a kit. The Hausler is a RTF. I decided that if I'm going to fly helicopters, I might as well learn how they tick, from the inside out, and besides, I like to build things. Here's good a tip for those who wish to build their own heli from a kit. DON'T-BUY-CHEAP-ELECTRONICS! Read on another forum. "Buy Cheap, Buy Twice", and that's the truth. IF, you really care about that helicopter you just built, don't skimp on the electronics. 3 bad gyro's (That's what caused the tail wag, Dave, a cheap gyro) A DEAD ESC (it just plain quit) later, I finally got it hovering. So you can take it from experience...Buy Cheap, you'll be sorry, if you do. Once I figure out how to upload a pix, I'll upload a pix of my Heli's

Hi Rodney, Welcome to the forum. We are all newbies to some extent and we can all learn from each other. This is why we have this forum. To share information and learn from each other.
