I have a question. What is the range for the Devo 7E and the RX2637H-D (Master CP)? I had a fatal crash with good power @ 10 yards. Checked range afterwards and 10 yards was about it with the canopy off and reciever antanna straight out. I have ordered a BNF replacement and dont want a repeat.

Welcome to the forum.
I don't have the 7F but 10 yards sounds way to short. I have a Devo 10, both the original version and the later version. The original version has a range of about 100 yards and the new version has a range of something like 1000 yards. I have yet to do a range check as 100 yards is further away than I fly. Small helicopters and quads become dots long before I get out of range. You should check the antennas on both Tx and Rx to make sure they are well seated. Since the Rx is soldered check to see if it is a good solder joint. Check the batteries in both the Tx and helicopter to make sure they are fully charged. If all of that checks out I would consider returning them to whom you bought them from to have them check them because something is wrong somewhere. With out another Tx or Rx to isolate the problem it is hard to tell which has the problem unless you have electronic equipment that can tell you the signal strength coming from the Tx.
