Hello from Southern New Mexico! Right now I'm flying a MQX with a DX6i, a WL V911 and V949 with their stock transmitters. I also have a Parkzone Night Vapor, but I haven't flown it in a few months. I've lost more birds carried off by the wind into the desert. Eagerly awaiting my Brushless Hoten and F7 FPS transmitter I ordered from here! Got away from the Hobby for a few years, and came back last month. Boy things have changed with all the new Chinese Stuff! My goal is to get into FPV flying with some bigger multi-rotors, but starting small to learn the basics again. Izord

Welcome. Needless to say if you have wind the little quads won't work so well. I have lots of little ones, the Hoten and now the QR X400. The bigger they are the less wind affects them. Phoenix really doesn't have a lot of wind most of the time. I grew up in SW Kansas now that is wind.
I really would like to get into FPV as well and it looks like Walkera is moving there nicely with the new equipment. I do hope they start using the telemetry to control the multicopters soon. I am looking at the DJI Naza as an add on to the X400 or a complete new DJI based quad to set up for FPV.
KEEP in touch and let us know how it goes.
