It is great to see all of the telemetry modules that Walkera is developing. I think the GPS is great but until it is integrated into the actual flight control it is not very useful. I have to keep both eyes on whatever I am flying at this point so I can’t look down at the Tx screen. Even if I could look at the data, I am not sure what I would do with it. I would like to see things like GPS way point flying, return to home ability, battery or motor temperature alarming, etc. so that these telemetry functions become much more useful to my flight control.
Until then, I will use the battery voltage telemetry data that comes on some of the new Devo Heli's and leave it at that. I would love to add much of this new technology to my new QR X400 but it is not available in a package I can really use.
