I have two Ladybird QR quads but I have a problem.
The first LB came with the Devo 4 transmitter and appeared to already be bound to that radio.
I bought the second LB separately and bound it using the procedure (and bind lead) in the manual.
Then I found that the first LB no longer links up -- so I rebound that -- but then the second LB no longer links up.
Do I have to keep rebinding these things every time I want to switch from the first LB to the second one? Why does binding the second one cause the first one to loose its bind information?
It's rather annoying actually -- or am I doing something wrong?

You could try setting up Fixed ID's, so both of your LB's are using the same ID. Or, you can set them up in the Tx as different models. LB_1 & LB_2.

The Devo 4 does not support multi-model setups the way the Devo 6,7,8,10 and 12 do so creating two different models in the one transmitter is not possible. My one experience with a Devo 4 made me think about the binding process as it was very fast to bind unlike my Devo 10's. It sounds like it using a very limited form of fixed binding based on rcmodelreviews description.
Sorry but I think you have described your only solution unless you go with one of the Milti-model Tx's.
