I just checked Walkera's web site and do not see any configuration files for the Super FP for any of the Tx's. Maybe someone on the Forum will have a Super FP and a Devo 7. Good luck. I would be interested to hear how the Super FP works for you. I keeping thinking about getting one in the future.

The default Tx setups are always in the manuals. For the Super FP this is pages 4 thru 6.
If this is a new heli, or you are a new pilot, I would highly recommend setting up your D/R's and Expo's to tame it down until you get a feel for how your heli is going to react to your stick inputs. Once you get comfortable with it, then you can reduce your Expo's and increase the D/R's.
Try setting your D/R's to 80% and set your expo's to +20. This will tame down the heli a bit and make it easier to handle.

Based on your description, my first guess is the COG is off a bit. If I were you, I would check the mechanical setup on it first. Then check the COG.

COG is Center of Gravity. The COG should be right down the main shaft. It sounds like your heli might be a little tail heavy. If this the case, you can add a little weight to the nose to balance it. I've seen some people use modeling clay in the nose of the canopy to do this. Or, you can try to reposition the battery. (move it farther forward) to do this also.

Ok thanks, I will check it out. I was sent it back to the store in Hong Kong they said they did fly test with the radio everything so i thought I just plug the battery in to fly it. Thank again,

Your servo horns at 90* at mid-stick? Your swashplate is level? And the COG is over the main shaft?
Yet, the heli still wants to fly backwards after lifting off? In your earlier post you mentioned this happens after it gets about a foot in the air. Have you tried to get it up to 2 or 3 feet in the air?
FP heli's are prone to "Rotor Wash". Rotor Wash is the turbulence created by the down draft of the main rotor blades bouncing off the ground and back up into the blades.
CP heli's are not as prone to rotor wash or wind like FP heli's are. I have a Mini CP. Even though it's a CP heli, it is so small and light that if I'm hovering it close to the ground it can get a little squirrley sometimes. Especially if my air conditioner is on. But, once it's up about 2 or 3 feet, it really stabalizes well.
Have you tried this with your FP? Are you flying it indoor or outdoor? You want to really fly it with '0' wind conditions until you get it dialed in. Any type of wind, even the smallest breeze is going to effect your FP. Keep it indoor until you get it dialed in.

Here is a link to a sight for setting up the Tx for the Super FP. I found it while looking around. Not sure how well it works but he had some stuff for my Genius CP that seemed to help me out.
Did you solve the bad flight characteristics you were experiencing?
