Cross post from "please introduce yourself"
I just got into the RC Helicopter world late last year and I am patiently waiting for the snow to melt..... I should be able to get some flying in by mid-April.
Also, I'd like your opinion. Sorry, it's story time.
I purchased a V400D02 from California (X Heli) last year with some spare parts, because I knew I was going to crash it. A few weeks later I just went ahead and bought another in a BNF configuration as a source of more parts, with the added bonus of now having two batteries. Hindsight is 20/20 of course. I should have probably started with a smaller helicopter (co-ax) and moved up from there, but I didn't. Lesson learned... maybe.
I'm looking at getting a Master CP (or two) in a BNF from WHS. The reason I say two, is because the shipping is a killer for one. The shipping alone is about 70% of the cost (currently $122.50) of one helicopter and only about $10 more if I order two. So, I'm leaning towards two.
Any thoughts?
