Hello to anyone that can help,
I have a V450D01, I have a problem with it binding fully. When I go to bind I get the two beeps and then it searches for the helicopter, then I get the servo twitch and then no three beeps that I used to get. It has the RX2703H-D rx with a devo 10 tx. I have already tried to replace the ESC and the motor to no avail. I have contacted Walkera and was left in the dark so I contacted Helipal (where I purchased it) again left in the dark. I bought the parts mentioned from WHS in hopes that they would cure the problem. They didn't . I did this on my own so no bad to them. Just need a little help here as to what direction I need to go. I hope the RX is not the culprit as funds are low and I would really like to get this bird flying again. I should mention that I am a newbie and the flying was lite before this happened. thanks for any help you may contribute.
Bill

What does the receiver LED during all this. Fast constant blink? Change in rate of blinking? Ever turn on solid?.
Also, have you ever used Fixed ID with this receiver? If so, clear it. The user manual tells you how.

Thank You for your response. The binding goes like this: Turn on the tx, I get two tones from the tx, plug in the battery I get a couple of flashes and two tones from the rx. I have a solid led, then the tx gives a second set of tones the led on the rx flashes slowly , maybe six times then will turn solid and the servos twitch. I just don't get the last three beeps from the helicopter. At this point I can move the sticks and the servos seem to function normally, just no motor. I can also hear the servos working when I move the helicopter by hand. Again thanks for your help. Bill

According to the instructions I have received from the good folks a WHS, unlike some other systems, With Everything OFF, plug in the helicopter battery FIRST. THEN turn on the Tx within 10 seconds.
I tried turning on the Tx first, then plugging in the heli battery: No Go.
As counter-intuitive as it sounds, the helicopter needs power before you turn on the Tx!

I just recently acquired the V450D03 from WHS and could not be happier! What an awesome bird! With the gyro gain turned way up, it is such a docile bird! Turn the gyro down and crank in some servo ext and wow!
AliShanMao says it it a confidence inspiring helicopter. How absolutely true! Over a dozen flights, so far, and the only damage I have done to the bird is lose a landing gear grommet when I backed a skid into some sticky mud at my local field! I actually flew out of the stuck! Try that with a lesser bird!

Sounds like either the motor is dead or the ESC is dead. Isolating beyond that is a little difficult. Check all connections between motor and ESC. Also between battery and ESC. Beyond that not sure what to recommend.

Just a silly question... Is your throttle hold on?

Never a silly question, no I do not have the throttle hold on. At this point I don't see a way around getting a new rx. I use the tx for my master cp , and the ladybird and do not have any issues.

Since the 2703 is such a new receiver from Walkera and it has a few on board settings have you verified the switches on the receiver?

On the RX2703 there is a switch kind of on the left side in the upper quadrant. That should be in position #2. Position #1 is for adjusting the gyro. Hope this helps.

I asked Walkera Technical Support last night and here is their answer:
The following reason can cause motor is not turn: 1. Please check if the battery level of heli is enough 2. The bind is not successfully 3. The connector between motor and speed controller is not connected well. Please check again.
So is your battery the right number of cells and is it fully charged? I have had some of my aircraft bind just fine but the the motor wouldn't start.

The answer to the question IS: i bought a new rx from walkera supply or course , and now the thing binds. I must have been the gyro. But the sun is shining and the grass is green. Thanks for the advice , i am happy. Bill
