Attached you will find a single zip file that contains two files for the Brushless Hoten X wifi. One is the firmware upgrade needed for the Hoten X Brushless to control the camera and the Hoten X via an iPad or iPhone.
The other is a .pdf file that explains what is needed and how to accomplish it. These are pretty good instructions so they should be very helpful.
I must caution you that these may not be the final version of the user document. Walkera made these available because we asked for them and they are not yet in final version form so user be ware. There may be a some things that are not clear or exactly as the final version will appear. I have not verified the firmware update yet myself.

It is too big to provide as an attachment. More to come on this when I figure out how to make it available to everyone. Dale

Here is a link to the zip file on the WHS web site. Download the zip file to your local machine and then extract the two files. One is the .pdf for the instructions and the other is a .bin file to be used to update the firmware on the Hoten X using the UP02 tool. walkerahelicoptersupply.com/collections/multi-rotor-craft-collection/products/hoten-x There are three links towards the bottom of the page. The one you want is the one that says "Click to download firmware update code with instructions. This enables the Hoten X's WiFi and FPV functions."

Ok - thanks I've got it now. Figured from the other page referenced that, after upgrading the firmware, the DV05 then plugs into one of the two connectors used to the update - the one pointed to as DV. Thanks

I haven't used any of the WiFi aircraft since I don't have an iPhone or iPad. Can you control the Horten X via your ixxx device or just control the camera on/off from your Devo Tx?

I downloaded the bin file and uploaded it to the bl hoten x. My Iphone sees the wifi and is able to turn the camera on or off. But I can not get it to fly from the IPhone. Am I missing a step to be able to the fly the quadcopter via an Iphone rather then an radio?
