No, it is molded plastic to keep the weight down. It looks awesome but is more fragile than fiberglass of course, but is also less expensive to replace if you happen to have a mishap. I believe Walkera did this to make the machine more affordable and really invested in high quality components for the frame and machined CNC components for the drive train.
