Walkera has posted a new version of the software for the MiniCP, Version 1.3. It was posted on January 16, 2013. It says if fixes a "self set fixed ID" problem.

Some information would be nice. How about a link? Is this SW for the MinCP program within the Transmitter? Thanks,

It is for the software in the Mini CP receiver. It does require the use of the UP02 and UP02 Adapter which are outlined in the zip file as a .pdf document that is included in the zip file. It is a little confusing as the file contained in the .zip file is "Mini CP Tx v1.3.bin" which implies it is applicable to the transmitter but it talks about using the UP02 to install it which is for the Rx software which is specific to the receiver. Also, the problem being fixed is in the Rx and not the Tx so I assume the file name is wrong. I have asked Walkera to clarify and will notify the forum is my assumption is incorrect. Here is a direct link to the file: walkera.com/en/progoods.php?id=471&type=fly please note that this is two files compressed into a single zip file. Windows 7 has the ability to un-compress it built into the operating system file system. Earlier versions of Windows may require you to download one of the programs available for free to un-compress the file. And here is the path you can take to get the the proper Walkera web page: walkera.com (use the English version of the web page) -> select the "Service" tab on the top menu -> select the "Download center" under the "Software update" heading -> select "Helicopter Update your helicopter" in the box in the middle of the page -> Select the "Mini CP (BNF version) in the lower left hand corner -> select the Version V1.3 at the top of the table. It shows that this was released on 2013-01-16. It is my understanding that this version includes the fix made to V1.1 plus the fix provided in V1.3 so you should not have to install V1.1 and V1.3. As it turns out, the file available in this web site for V1.1 has a problem and will not un-compress into it constituent parts so don't worry about it. Now at this point you can install the new software using the UP02 hardware. This does require that you have downloaded and installed that tool on to your PC. Here is the link for that software walkera.com/en/updater.phpFor this update you need the UP02 Program Upgrade Tools file installed on your PC to upgrade the receiver software. A side note here, the "Devention Dfuse USB Upgrade Tools (Devo12/2, Devo8/S, Devo10, Devo6)" listed on the same page is tool used to grade the software in your transmitter from a PC. Once all of this is installed on your PC it is pretty simple to install the upgrade Rx software. I understand if this all sounds confusing as it was for me and I used to make my living doing this kind of stuff. If you have more questions feel free to ask and I will answer as best I can. I have installed all of this software on my PC and used to all several times in the last several months. If I have time in the near future, I will write up the procedure for installing and using the two PC tools Walkera provides. Look for a new topic on this subject as it can cause just as many questions as any helicopter or multi-copter for people. Dale

Just a quick note about the hardware tool used to update the receiver software, Dave has them available and they are under $20. See walkerahelicoptersupply.com/collections/devo-transmitters/products/up-02-upgrading-tools-cable-adapter . I always check his web site if I need something before looking anywhere else. He has the best prices (he does price match) and great service. No, I do not get any discount or freebie merchandise for saying this or for supporting this board. I do buy most of my "stuff" from him as he has the best service around and I have tried several places so that comes from first hand experience. Dale

I have a problem ... when I update the firmware of mini cp to version 1.4 the program tells me that I always have the version 1.1 ... but the program at the end of the process tells me that I have successfully updated the firmware. What can be the problem?
